Side Effects of Amoxycillin 500mg are
- Severe allergic reaction including swollen face or breathing problems.
- Severe diarrhoea with bleeding
- Allergic skin reactions with breathing problem.
- Convulsions may occur in patients on high doses or with kidney problems
- Notice your urine becoming darker or your faeces becoming paler
- Notice your skin or the white of your eyes turning yellow (jaundice)
- Difficulty or discomfort in passing urine or having cloudy urine
- Nausea (feeling sick) or diarrhoea
- Vomiting

Dosage/Usage of Amoxycillin 500mg (MOX 500mg)
Follow all directions given to you by your doctor or pharmacist.
Susceptible infections can have 1.5g/day in divided doses. Amoxycillin 500mg is mainly prescribed to avoid any possible infections. So you may be advised to take 3 Amoxycillin 500mg tablets per day for 4 to 5 days.
Mode of Use: Oral
Food? : May be taken with or without food. But its advised to have food before the tablet to avoid gastrointestinal problems.
Children: It is recommended that children be given Amoxycillin as a suspension instead of as capsules. Amoxycillin 250mg is available in suspension.

Amoxycillin 500mg falls under Category B of US FDA. Animal reproduction studies of SAmoxicillin 500mg have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women.
