Sporidex 
125mg Syrup/Suspension is mainly used to avoid bacterial infections. Its an effective medicine for inflammation of the middle ear, infection in  pharynx including the tonsils and larynx, bone and joint infections, pneumonia, inflammation of connective tissue with severe inflammation of dermal and subcutaneous layers of the skin etc.

125mg Syrup/Suspension is not advised for patients with penicillin allergy. Normally allergy to Sporidex 125mg Syrup/Suspension is very nominal.  Allergies occur in less than 0.1% of patients. Common adverse effects of Sporidex 125mg Syrup/Suspension include gastrointestinal upset such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, and abdominal pain. 

Others may include dizziness, agitation, headache, joint pain, and tiredness. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include swelling, trouble breathing, rash, itching or red, blistered, swollen or peeling skin. Please stop taking the medicine of you are having any of the above symptoms and consult the doctor at the earliest.

Dosage/Usage of Sporidex 
125mg Syrup/Suspension
 
Susceptible infections can have 15ml/day in divided doses. Sporidex 
125mg Syrup/Suspension is mainly prescribed to avoid any possible infections. So you may be advised to take 15-20ml Sporidex 125mg Syrup/Suspension  per day for 4 to 5 days. For any serious infections you may need to take 30ml/day or we can go for Sporidex 250mg.

Mode of Use: Oral
Food? : May be taken with or without food. But its advised to have food before the Syrup to avoid gastrointestinal problems.

125mg Syrup/Suspension is mainly prescribed for children who are under the age of 2. Please look for the elderly doses such as Sporidex 500mg or Sporidex 750mg.
