Sporidex 125mg Syrup/Suspension is not advised for patients with penicillin allergy. Normally allergy to Sporidex 125mg Syrup/Suspension is very nominal. Allergies occur in less than 0.1% of patients. Common adverse effects of Sporidex 125mg Syrup/Suspension include gastrointestinal upset such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, and abdominal pain.
Others may include dizziness, agitation, headache, joint pain, and tiredness. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include swelling, trouble breathing, rash, itching or red, blistered, swollen or peeling skin. Susceptible infections can have 15ml/day in divided doses. Sporidex 125mg Syrup/Suspension is mainly prescribed to avoid any possible infections. So you may be advised to take 15-20ml Sporidex 125mg Syrup/Suspension per day for 4 to 5 days. For any serious infections you may need to take 30ml/day or we can go for Sporidex 250mg.
