• Sinoatrial node disease
• Cardiogenic shock
• Unstable angina

• Hypotension
• Impaired liver or renal functions
• Myocardial infarction
• Severe ventricular dysfunction
• Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
• Severe aortic stenosis
• Elderly
• Children 
• Pregnancy
