Content of Atorlip Tablet
Atorlip contains atorvastatin.It is coming under the class of drugs known as statins.All statins act as HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor .Atorvastatin reduces levels of low-density lipoprotein, or LDL (bad cholestrol) and triglycerides in the blood, while increasing levels of high-density lipoprotein, or HDL (good cholesterol) .
Usage of Atorlip Tablet
Atorlip tablet used for the treatment of ,
- Elevated total cholesterol, LDL, and triglycerides and to elevate HDL cholesterol.
- Effective in angina, stroke, heart attack and congestive heart failure.

- dizziness.
- muscle ache, tenderness or weakness
- insomnia
- skin rash, itchiness
- painful, swollen joints
- jaundice (yellowing of the skin and/or eyes)
Dosage of Atorlip Tablet
Available in 5,10, 20, 40, and 80 mg tablets.
Atorvastatin is prescribed once daily(night). The usual starting dose is 10-20 mg per day, and the maximum dose is 80 mg per day.
